FOODS THAT WARD OFF SPECIFIC TYPES OF CANCERS


H
ere are some foods that ward off specific types of cancers - Remember, these foods are NOT necessarily cures. Please suggest these foods to anyone you know who you think would benefit from these simple dietary additions.


Lima Beans actually starve Breast Cancer tumors by cutting off their blood supply. Have at least one cup per day and frozen is fine.
 
Parsley acts to starve Ovarian Cancer tumors in the same way; by cutting off their blood supply. Again, have at least one cup per day.
 
Limes, more specifically the Hesperidin found in the pith below the skin, is great for Lung Cancer.
 
Apricots contain quercitin which helps mitigate Stomach Cancer. Eat 7 per day and sun dried is fine. 

ALSO - When you are purchasing food products and notice the word 'Light' on the label, it means that the food contains one-third fewer calories than the so-called regular version. If you see the words 'Reduced-Fat' on the label, it means that the food contains at most 25% of the cholesterol and at least 2 grams less saturated fat than the full-fat version. This is all nice, but don't forget about the 'glycemic index'. Try to avoid foods that list either sugar or any corn syrup derivative in the first five items shown on the ingredient list.
