COMPOUNDS THAT INTERFERE WITH CONCEPTION AND PREGNANCY

COMPOUNDS THAT INTERFERE WITH CONCEPTION AND PREGNANCY - We have been getting a few questions concerning conception problems. There are numerous common products that expose both men and women to compounds that interfere with conception and pregnancy. The BPS and BPA (Bis Phenol-A) compounds in plastics interfere with hormones that allow sperm cells to swim and find a viable egg to fertilize.

Also, 4-MBC (4-methylbenzylidene camphor), which is used in sunscreens to block UVB rays, and DnBP (di-n-butylphthalate, which is used to make plastics more flexible, inhibit sperm production in men. Finally, Triclosan, which is found in antibacterial soaps and toothpastes, allow an enzyme that helps sperm fuse with an egg to be released too soon. The best thing to do is reduce exposure to these hormone disrupting chemicals by not heating plastics in the microwave and don't use any plastic with a 3, 6, or 7 on the recycle label. Also avoid Phthalates in your personal care products.

A NATURAL DIURETIC -
For those of you looking for another natural diuretic in addition to vitamin B-6,  try Parsley, which is not only a diuretic but also a good detoxifyer.

90 MINUTE SLEEP CYCLES - Make sure that when you sleep at night you are getting the proper number of 90 minute sleep cycles. If you don't get enough sleep, your body makes a hormone called Grelin, which leads to excess and ravenous eating, thus leading to weight gain. If you want to burn more calories during sleep, keep the house around 63 degrees. The lower temperature activates the burning of Brown Fat.
