ONE THING AT A TIME

ONE THING AT A TIME - You may think you can Multitask and save time, but it is an illusion. The human brain can only do one thing at a time. When you think you are Multitasking, all you are really doing is flipping between two or more tasks very rapidly. In fact, trying to do two or more things at once only results in doing all of those things poorly. This is why a student that studies while listening to music just takes longer to study the same material than another student that studies with no distractions.

Virtually every successful person, no matter the field of endeavor, has the ability to Focus on one task at a time. This focus leads to the highest efficiency an individual can possibly achieve. My advice is to practice performing your daily activities with laser Focus, and not try to do two things at once. Finish one task, then go on to the other. Doing this will increase your level of success the rest of your life.
