FROM DR. TOM - Here are a few of my most common pieces of advice I provide to clients.

FROM DR. TOM -
Here are a few of my most common pieces of advice I provide to clients.

OLIVE OIL - Make sure you're not cooking with an oil that can be dangerous to your health when heated. Olive oil, vegetable oil, and soybean oil are not thermally stable and release cancer causing chemicals when heated. The most thermally stable oils to cook with are coconut oil and avocado oil.

OMEGA 3 - If you don't want to buy omega-3 fatty acids as a supplement, try adding oily fish (salmon, sardines, mackerel and herring), walnuts, or ground flaxseed into your diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are great for your vision, brain, and heart health.

LUTEIN - Lutein, which is great for your eyes and is found in many fruits and vegetables, is a fat soluble antioxidant and vitamin. If you add olive oil to your salads, your body will absorb the lutein better.

Dr. Thomas Brewer - Dr. Brewer obtained his Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Michigan State University in 1992. He worked in both industry and the national laboratory system as a senior research scientist for over a decade. Dr. Brewer’s research expertise in the disciplines of heterogeneous catalysis, waste remediation, and metal oxides resulted in the granting of one U.S. Patent, sixteen invention disclosures, and numerous papers and journal articles. His main strength is the ability to explain both complex and fundamental scientific phenomena in a simple and straightforward manner.

Dr. Brewer’s career in research science, darkfield microscopist, speaker, and consultant gives him the opportunity to help people from all walks of life understand their body’s health and nutritional needs using down-to-earth principles everyone can understand.
